Design & Display
Display: The Honor 9N comes with a
5.84-inch FullView FullHD+ IPS LCD display with resolution of 2280x1080 pixels
and an aspect ratio of 19:9.
Rear camera: The Honor 9N comes
with a dual camera system on the rear consisting of a primary 13-megapixel
sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, both with f/2.2 aperture and
phase-detect auto focus for fast focusing. The dual camera system in the Honor
9N can take portrait shots or photos with shallow depth of field.
Front camera: On the front, the Honor
9N has a 16-megapixel camera.
Software: The dual-SIM Honor 9N
runs Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0.
Battery: The Honor 9N uses a
3,000mAh battery and charges using standard micro-USB cable.
Colours: The Honor 9N has been launched in four
colours: Lavender Purple, Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black and Robin Egg Blue.
However, only the black and blue versions will be available for buying
initially, while the other two variants will be introduced at a later date.
Special features of Honor 9N
-- Honor has promised to
bring GPU Turbo technology to the Honor 9N in Q4 2018. GPU Turbo tech is
basically a graphics processing acceleration technology that offers a smoother
and faster mobile gaming experience. Honor claims the games will run with up to
60 per cent more graphics processing efficiency while consuming up to 30 per
cent less battery due to the GPU Turbo technology. The company also claims that
the technology will also allow standard games to render in HDR.
-- The dual camera set up
is one of the highlights of the phones. Not every phone under Rs 15,000 comes
with a dual camera system.
-- Honor says that the 9N
supports face unlocking feature. The company says this face unlock feature is
so accurate that it won't unlock the device if the user has his or her eyes
closed.
-- The Fingerprint sensor
on the back can be used to unlock the phones as well as to silence your morning
alarms.
-- Then there is a "Ride
Mode", a safety feature similar to Samsung S Bike mode that notifies
callers that the user is currently riding, and cannot answer calls.
